This fabulous creation is from the house of Yoshiki Hishinuma, an award winning Japanese visionary that has famously used nature to inspire his designs. The organic elements of this ensemble are a clear testament to his craft, via the textural visuals of bark and reptile skin on this intricately pleated and painted piece. The velvet essence creates fluctuating lights on the various textures on this… watch the deep green go to bright green, bark, black, grey and wine… so many landscapes to explore in this visual delight. We are lucky enough to host a mint condition, new/old ensemble straight from the era, sold at Theodore. Skirt features side zipper. Jacket features velvet buttons. Sleeves are oversized and feature an elongated wrist. Can be an oversized statement piece or a fitted ensemble, giving clearance for many sizes. Listed as a size 3, estimated US 10.
